Mohamed Muse

Mr. Mohamed is currently advancing his academic career as a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs of Leiden University. His research within this prestigious institution is primarily focused on diaspora humanitarianism. Complementing his academic work, Mr. Mohamed holds the role of research fellow at two esteemed institutions: the African Diaspora Policy Centre in The Hague and the Centre of Migration and Diversity in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.


In his capacity as a research fellow, Mr. Mohamed delves into complex topics like remittances, financial regulation, and intelligence, examining their interplay with governance and development policies. This aspect of his work is critical in understanding how financial and policy mechanisms interact with global migration and diaspora dynamics. His research in these areas contributes valuable insights, particularly in the context of how these dynamics influence international relations and development strategies.
