Naima Jama
Naima Jama holds a Master of Science degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester, where her thesis focused on the clinical research of building genetic network models of asthma, elucidating gene regulations in DNA and RNA sequencing through computational analysis. Naima has garnered valuable experience in the aerospace research sector, serving as a Project Engineer at the University of Oxford. In this capacity, she contributed significantly to engine optimization and undertook multiple aerothermal research projects.
She also worked with World Health Organization, where she dedicated two months to delivering polio vaccines in IDP Camps across southern Somalia. During this time, she received training and guidance from senior peers, gaining insights into conflict resolution and the environmental factors influencing displacement and migration.
